General Guy is the boss of the fourth chapter in Paper Mario.

Background

The overconfident commander of the Shy Guys in Shy Guy's Toy Box, General Guy was given the Star Spirit Muskular to guard from Mario. When Mario found his way through the toy box and confronted General Guy, he first had to fight his way through a squad of Shy Guys and two pairs of elite forces. General Guy attacked from within his defense-heavy tank, throwing bombs and using the bulb on the tank's rear to shock Mario. He was eventually beaten and ran away with the rest of the Shy Squad.

General Guy later made an appearance in the ending parade, dancing with several other Shy Guys in front of his tank within a box-shaped float.

Abilities

General Guy is presumably no stronger than an average Shy Guy, but it may never be revealed if he is or not as he only battles with his tank in the game.

Trivia

• Watt is immune to the electric attack that the bulb on the tank uses. She also cuts through the tank's defense, which makes her very helpful for this battle.
• A sticker of General Guy appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
