Maurice Favreau is a Galactic Federation soldier under the command of Adam Malkovich who was featured as a supporting character in Metroid: Other M.

Background

Maurice Favreau worked primarily as an engineer within the Federation ranks. He seemed to have some skill in operating computers and repairing damaged equipment. During Other M, he was part of Adam Malkovich's Seventh Battalion that was assigned to investigate the Bottle Ship. When the time came for the battalion to split up, Favreau was first assigned to check Sector 2, the Cryosphere, and to repair any broken equipment that he came across.

The group was later called to gather at the Exam Center in Sector 1, although Lyle never showed up. Favreau spent some time dealing with restoring a computer's CPU and then penetrating it security system in order to learn more details about the Bottle Ship including the involvement of Madeline Bergman. He wanted James to give a try at hacking the computer if he failed, but they were then interrupted by a Space Pirate attack. His exact actions following this are uncertain, but it seems that Favreau returned to the Cryosphere and made his way to the Experiment Floor, near the lab where Bergman was located, likely because he learned about her from the computer.

Favreau was killed as he was navigated the Experiment Floor, with MB witnessing his death. James Pierce, who was secretly the Deleter, shot him in the back and left his body to freeze in the snow. He died either from the shot or the cold.
