Debut Mother

Teddy is the last character of the main party in Mother, but instead of acting as the fourth party member he is a temporary replacement for Lloyd.

Background[edit]

Teddy was a rebellious youth living in Ellay. Apparently he used to be a gentle kid, but this changed when his parents were killed by creatures from Mt. Itoi that were under the influence of Giygas. This caused Teddy to become rebellious and lead a local gang, the Bla-Blas. However, he later witnessed Ninten and his friends (Lloyd and Ana) performing at the Live Show and liked their song. He joined them on the stage and confronted them. Initially, he threatened them for beating up some of his thugs and challenged Ninten to a battle, The ensuing fight only lasted for several rounds before Teddy called it off and called it a draw.

Impressed by Ninten, he decided to join the group so that he could exact revenge for his parents' death by defeating the monsters at Mt. Itoi. He also convinced them to leave Lloyd behind at the club because of how weak he was. Together, they then made their way up Mt. Itoi. Apparently having caught on to Ninten and Ana's chemistry, he left them alone at a healing house along the mountain while he made some phone calls so that they could discuss their feelings. However, he burst into the room and tried to rush them up the mountain when he heard noises outside.

They were then attacked by the giant robot R7038. They lost the battle, but Lloyd then arrived in a tank and wrecked the robot. Although Ninten and Ana were able to quickly recover, Teddy was injured too severely to continue. He realized that brute strength was not enough to beat them, but the others could still bring peace back. He then called Lloyd forth to fight in his place, which led to Lloyd rejoining the party. In the ending, it was shown that Teddy eventually made a full recovery and began singing daily at The Live Show.

Ablities[edit]

Teddy has no PSI abilities, but he is physically the strongest teammate in the game. He fights with a variety of blades, with the Katana Blade being his strongest weapon.
