Dodrio evolves from Doduo at Level 31. One of Doduo's two heads splits into two during the evolution process to form this unique, three-headed Pokémon. Their three heads are said to each represent joy, sadness and anger. It uses its three brains to execute complex plans. Although it can collect data and plan "three times as wisely", this also causes it to overthink sometimes and immobilize itself. Similar to its previous form, one head stays awake as a lookout while the other two are asleep. The three heads are attentive enough that anyone who looks away from a Dodrio even briefly is likely to be severely pecked. A Dodrio is satisfied when just one head eats.

When on guard, they usually look in three different directions at the same time. In addition to three heads, Dodrio is said to have three hearts and three sets of lungs, which allow it to run long distances without needing rest. It can run close to 40 miles per hour in prairies, and they can even run well in arid weather conditions.

Dodrio is a three-headed ostrich-like Pokémon that was introduced in the first generation games. It is the evolved form of Doduo.

Information[edit]
