Spinarak is a small green spider-like Pokémon that was introduced in the second generation games. Its evolved form is Ariados.

Like most spiders, Spinarak use fine yet durable thread to spin webs and entrap prey. However, these webs are considered to be like the Spinarak's second nervous system. It can determine what kind of creature has touched its web just from its vibrations. Spinarak can wait patiently for days on their webs for prey.
