Hariyama is a muscular wrestling Pokémon that was introduced in the third generation games. It is the evolved form of Makuhita.

Hariyama evolves from Makuhita at Level 24. It has a thick body that appears to be fat but is actually composed of solid muscle. Hariyama's body can become hard as a rock when it bears down and tightens its muscles. They habitually challenge others to test of strength without hesitating, and they love to match their power against other big-bodied Pokémon.
