Electrike is a Pokémon that generates electricity using friction from the atmosphere and converts the friction from running into electric energy. It stores its electric energy in its long body hair and uses electric charges to stimulate its leg muscles. This gives its legs explosive acceleration power and heightens its reaction speed as a result. Electrike can run faster than the eye can follow. It gives off sparks from all over its body during dry seasons and when storms approach.
Electrike evolves into Manectric at Level 26.

In Pokémon: Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald Versions, Electrike could be found somewhat commonly at Routes 110 and 118. In Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, they could appear at Valley Windworks during swarms.
