QQQ (pronounced Q3) is an F-Zero racer that was brought from the future thanks to its advanced AI.

Background[edit]

Discarded for reasons unknown, QQQ was found in a galactic waste-management facility by none other than Phoenix, a time traveling space detective. Its original purpose was for land mine detection and disposal, meaning that it possesses a very durable body. In its time period of the 29th century, the robot's construction was considered obsolete. However its AI is considerably advanced for any time period and especially so in the 27th century.

It was repaired by Phoenix who aimed to use him as mission support. The robot has the necessary navigation hardware to traverse time as well, though the damage caused when it was discarded has made it impossible for it to use it. Until it is repaired, it has accompanied Phoenix in his mission, which means entering the F-Zero Grand Prix to help prevent a possible universe-changing event that is due to occur. In order to win, it has analyzed Captain Falcon's racing data and put it to use.

Rolling Turtle[edit]

  • Engine: SS-A310-CTx4
  • Weight: 999 kg
  • Body: A
  • Boost: D
  • Grip: B

The Rolling Turtle was originally a man-made military satellite that, like QQQ, had been abandoned in the waste-management facility. Phoenix took the time to repair it for QQQ's use mission support. Thanks to its military origins, it features top of the line armor making it durable in a race. Though highly maneuverable, its design prevents it from achieving high boost abilities.

Trivia[edit]

  • Although introduced in F-Zero AX, it can be unlocked in F-Zero GX by beating Chapter 3 in Story Mode on Very Hard difficulty.
  • QQQ's Rolling Turtle is the only F-Zero machine with an open cockpit.
