Super Punch-Out!! is the original arcade sequel to Punch-Out!!. To make the game feel more interesting then the original, Nintendo introduced characters performing moves that would be considered illegal in real boxing.
Gameplay
Using the same engine as the previous game, this game once more has the player assume the role of a transparent wireframe boxer who must take on and defeat five champions to become world champion of the Wold Video Boxing Association. After obtaining the Heavyweight Belt, the player must defend their newly-earned title by defeating the same boxers over and over again in an endless cycle.
This game adds ducking as an ability. In the game, the player could battle the following five boxers:
