Whimsicott is a small cotton-haired Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Cottonee.

Information

Whimsicott evolves from Cottonee when exposed to a Sun Stone. They seem to travel by riding whirlwinds, due to their small size. They apparently can slip through any gap, "like the wind", no matter how small. Whimsicott have been particularly known to sneak into houses through gaps and cause various types of mischief. They often leave behind balls of white fluff which seem to come from their hair.

Appearances

Mainstream Games

In Pokémon: Black Version, Whimsicott have a rare chance of appearing in shaking grass at Pinwheel Forest and Lostlorn Forest.

Other Games

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, Whimsicott was found at the forest areas of Misty Edgewater and World Axle's second basement floor. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, it appeared at Windmill Way in the Arbor Area and was befriended through a chase.
