Escavalier is an armored insect-like Pokémon that as introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Karrablast.
Information
Escavalier evolves from Karrablast as a result of the electrical stimulation which is placed on a Karrablast when it is traded with a Shelmet, with the same process causing Shelmet's evolution into Accelgor. Escavalier gains the Shelmet's shell covering as it evolves, and it becomes steel armor which protects its entire body. They fly around at high speeds and attack with their pointed spears. Escavalier are known for bravely facing their opponents even when in trouble.
Appearances
Mainstream Games
Escavalier has not been found in the wild and can only be gained through evolution.
Trivia
- Its name is a combination of "escargot" (with his French for snail) with "cavalier" (a name for a mounted soldier who usually wields swords) or possibly "chevalier" (the French word for a knight).
