Eelektross is a floating electric eel Pokémon with arms that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and final stage in Tynamo's evolutionary line.
Information[edit]
Eelektross evolves from an Eelektrik that has been exposed to a Thunderstone. In this evolution, they gain arms which they use to climb out of the ocean, which seems to be their primary habitat. They attack prey on shore and then immediately drag it into the ocean. Eelektross also suck in prey with their sucker mouths, and they can use their fangs to shock prey and other foes with electricity. As with its previous form, it can be assumed that the yellow circular bodies on its skin are its electricity-generating organs.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
Eelektross has not been found in the wild and can only be obtained through evolution.
Trivia[edit]
- Its name is a combination of "eel" and "electric" with "boss".
- Tynamo's evolutionary line is unique in that the Levitate ability makes it immune to Ground type moves except under special conditions, so they have no type weaknesses.
