Fraxure is a violent tusked dragon Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the middle stage of Axew's evolutionary cycle and evolves into Haxorus.

Information[edit]

Appearances[edit]

Fraxure evolves from Axew at Level 38. Unlike its earlier form, Fraxure cannot regrow broken tusks. Because of this, they diligently sharpen their tusks on river rocks following fights. A Fraxure's tusks are still strong enough to shatter rocks. They often get into fights with each other over territory, with these fights often escalating in violence.

It evolves into Haxorus at Level 48.

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Fraxure could be rarely found outside Victory Road.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, Fraxure so far have only made small appearances in flashbacks to Iris's home village as well as a dream that her Axew had due to its dream of evolving.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name is a pun on "fracture" combined with "axe".
