Mandibuzz is a deadly bone-collecting vulture-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Vullaby.

Information

Mandibuzz evolves from Vullaby at Level 54. They watch and wait in the sky, eventually swooping down to strike weakened Pokémon on the ground. It grabs its prey and brings it back to its nest. Mandibuzz decorate themselves with bones and also use the bones they find to decorate their nests.

In Pokémon: Black Version, Mandibuzz could be uncommonly found in the dark grass at Route 11 and Village Bridge.

Trivia

• Its name is a combination of "mandible" (which is a jawbone and may reflect Mandibuzz's penchant for bones) and "buzzard" (which is a species similar to a vulture).
