Overview[edit]
An OG written primarily in prose (although a few script posts snuck in). It is the first OG that intentionally takes place in a new timeline. It focuses on a timeline in which Golem remains in his form of Cat instead of commiting suicide and being revived as Golem (in Party Goers 15).
Plot Summary[edit]
It began as Cat met with two interesting new people - the alien traveler Pieruru and an amnesiac Big Al. The three decided to investigate the mysterious revival of the True Blue Cult, becoming known as the Cat Investigations, a detective group specializing in the supernatural. With the aid of a video game character named Schala, they infiltrated the True Blue's headquarters: the Saphire Pyramid.
There the Cat Investigations was joined by the enigmatic Sam as well as Chasity, one of the cult's Shining One's who changed her ways due to Sam. They also made various video game character cameos, some of which helped them while others were affiliated with the True Blue Cult. However, two of the head villains - the Carpainter from Earthbound and Vile from Mega Man X - turned out to actually be Wagolem and Big Bull, from Anti-Space, in disguise.
Big Al eventually fully recovered his memory and sacrificed himself to save Cat from Big Bull. But he regained his life after winning a fight with Death. After battles with Big Bull and Wagolem, the Saphire Pyramid began to go down in flames. Cat went in to save Sam, but Sam was instead saved by his mysterious benefactor, who warned Sam that friendships were too dangerous. Wagolem was caught and arrested. Big Al brought Wagolem back to The Council, and they decided to award Big Al. But first, Al left them to finish off Big Bull.
Back on Earth, Cat find that he has used up all his party enegry. However he still unites with Pieruru, Sam and Chasity to continue their supernatural investigations.

- At one point Cat remembers the scene from Party Goers 6 in which Nintenfreak grants him the TASTS.
