Overview[edit]

The premise of the OG was first suggested by Nintenfreak after he realized that the characters Masamune and Vorpal had never engaged each other in a swordfight before (but they did have a Pokemon battle in Holiday Goers: Halloween Haunter). Nintenfreak attempted to plan the OG's plot beforehand and wrote up a word document summarizing the story's plot and all the main characters while staying historically accurate. It was written in prose, and featured ancestors of the Party Goers in 17th Century Japan.

Despite all the planning (or perhaps because of it; Masamune and Vorpal both noted that doing research for a Party Goers story "felt wrong"), the OG moved at a snail's pace and eventually died out.

The Ennead[edit]

The main nine characters form a group called the "Ennead", a name taken from Egyptian mythology. Only the first six members were introduced during the portion of the OG that was completed.

Plot Summary[edit]

Written Segment[edit]

It began as a Japanese merchant named Shiroi was making a delivery and met a kappa named Kyuri, who accompanied him. Shiroi was assigned to take the Yokishima Blade to St. Stephen's Cathredal in Austria. Austria, to his dismay. They were to be accompanied by a young boy named Baku, whom they discovered to be a shape-shifting tanuki. After saying goodbye to his family, Shiroi departed with Kyuri and Baku on a boat that would take them there.

Aboard the boat, Shiroi met a woman named Elizabeth, who was the daughter of the ship's captain. However, the ship was attacked by a kraken, and Kyuri had to reveal his identity as a kappa to defeat it. The captain attempted to kill Kyuri as he was a collector of rare animals, but Kyuri fought back. During the ensuing battle, the captain drowned and died. The crew wanted to lynch Kyuri, particularly a ruthless sailor named James Hamilton, but Elizabeth defended the creature and helped them all to escape.

After reaching land, Shiroi's group made their way to St. Stephen's Cathredal. Along the way they were joined by a talking gorilla named Carthage. They eventually arrived at the cathredal and met with a priest named Gregor to complete the delivery.

Unwritten Segment[edit]

The remainder of the story can be derived from Nintenfreak's outline of the OG's plot.

A freak accident then occured and caused the Masamune and Murasame swords on display in St. Stephen's to touch each other, releasing the people within the swords. Masamune took on a human form, while Murasame possessed Gregor. After the ensuing battle, Masamune escaped while the clean Gregor decided to join with Shiroi's group. The Bishop then made Shiroi's group keep the Yokishima instead.

The group travels to Italy at one point, meeting Lugius Caesar. Later they depart for England, meeting up with Beyos and Juliana there. With the Ennead complete, they all go to Scotland. There they are ambushed by James Hamilton, who steals the Yokishima Sword and thus becomes the first Vorpal. They later follow a path of death and destruction to France. There Masamune attempts to kill Gregor, and though the murder attempt fails, Masamune learns about the existence of Vorpal in the meantime.

The Ennead then split up to take on Masamune and Vorpal seperately, and the two groups united at St. Stephen's. There Masamune and Vorpal locked swords in an epic clash. Gregor defeats Masamune by tricking him into attacking the Murasame blade, causing Masamune and Murasame to be sealed back within their swords then getting sent into space. Finally, Vorpal appears to be victorious but is stabbed from behind. Them's the brakes.

The OG would have ended with a series of memoirs written from the various characters' points of view.

Trivia[edit]

Could be considered the spirtual predecessor of Make War, Not Pixels! in how the plot was organized and how the OG itself was written. Except MWNP was less strict about it and will probably get finished. Snap, no I di'n't.
