Bat-Ear Mirawk is a anthromorphic bat who practices hachiryu using eight katanas (two with his hands, two with his feet, two with his ears, one with his mouth, and one with his nose) and is renowned as one of the universe's greatest swordfighters. For those he considers unworthy (which are most swordfighters), he instead uses a rubber dagger from McDonald's as a weapon. He first appears in Member OG 7 as a participant in Goren's tournament.

History[edit]

Bat-Ear Mirawk was one of the four warriors who battled alongside Introbulus, Saru, and Cerulea, against the Velvet Monkey and his army of S-Space minions. He was the Warrior of Winds. It is said that Mirawk once had a human face (one considered quite handsome) until some accident turned it into a hideous bat face.

Mirawk spent the years travelling through space and perfecting his sword style until 2018, when he heard of Goren's fighting tournament. He suspected Velvet Monkey's hand in the manner and participated in the tournament to investigate. He also found an admirer and a rival in SwordMaster, but the two never got to duel. Mirawk was later killed when Goren's mansion was overcome by lava.

The Velvet Monkey, in some sick jest, used his Black Smoke to possess Mirawk's body and used it to battle the OGers after taking them into S-Space. The OGers focused on destroying as many of Mirawk's swords as possible and slowly weakened him until SwordMaster (possessed by the soul of Daioshogun) delivered the final blow, forcing Velvet Monkey's soul out of Mirawk's body so he could rest in peace.

Trivia[edit]

  • He was created as a loose parody of Dracule Mihawk, a master swordsman from the One Piece manga. The "rawk" in his name is a reference to Rawk Hawk, a character from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (who participated in a battling arena that the tournament in Member OG 7 was loosely based on).
