Debut | Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Versions |
Aaron is the first member of Sinnoh's Elite Four who is battled in Pokémon: Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Versions. He specializes in bug-type Pokémon.
Background
Aaron was a young-looking member of the Elite Four who was known for being a big fan of Bug-type Pokémon. He appreciated them for being "nasty-mean" and beautiful. He viewed Bug Pokémon as perfect and said that he took on challengers as an Elite Four members so that he could become as perfect as his Pokémon. As he considered Bug-type Pokémon to be perfect, he blamed any flaws or defeats on himself.
In Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, he was challenged and defeated by Lucas/Dawn. He conceded defeat but hoped that they recognized the greatness of Bug-type Pokémon and realized why they were up against the Elite Four due to battling being a complex affair. As he lost with "the most beautiful and toughest of the bug Pokémon", he attributed his loss to not being tough enough and resigned himself to more training.
Pokémon Roster
Aaron uses the following Pokémon for the Elite Four challenge in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum:
- Dustox (Diamond/Pearl only)/Yanmega (Platinum only)
- Beautifly (Diamond/Pearl only)/Scizor (Platinum only)
- Heracross
- Vespiquen
- Drapion
