One of the six new bounty hunters introduced in 'Metroid Prime Hunters', Sylux battled Samus Aran on the Vesper Defense Outpost. Despite being defeated, he repeatedly challenged Samus in different locations in the Alimbic Cluster.

Trivia
- Of all the bounty hunters, Sylux seems to have been intended as Samus's 'archrival'. Of all the other bounty hunters, he shows up first in the intro video, has his actual ship appear, and was the only other 'all around fighter' besides Samus. Probably the most likely candidate for a future appearance.
