Full Name:
Birthdate:
Species: Koopa
Nationality:
Creator: Magikoopa
First Appearance: Party Goers
Background
Magikoopa resembles a generic Magikoopa from the Super Mario games, and has powers similar to one. He is known for his love of anime girls, anime in general and Nintendo merchandise (his favorite being a Talking Wing Cap Mario Doll). His method of transportation is a Flying Submarine.
In Party Goers, he met with Metal Mario and Bomberman. Magikoopa offered to ferry them around in his submarine and then became involved in their schemes to destroy Golem and the Party Goers. After Metal Mario's apparent death, Bomberman remained with Magikoopa, who continued menacing the Party Goers in Metal Mario's place throughout the series.
Magikoopa and Bomberman then joined Team Rocket (their branch would later be known as Team Rocket Omega) and were teamed up with a talking Meowth (the same one belonging to Jessie and James in the Pokemon anime series). They continued to plot against the Party Goers, but this time they were also motivated by Team Rocket duties which including stealing rare Pokemon. Magikoopa also had a sort of love-hate relationship with the Party Goer known as Sapphire. Magikoopa was constantly trying to either induct her into Team Rocket, or to destroy her with the Party Goers. After she got a Pikachu, Team Rocket Omega sought to steal it as well.
Magikoopa later took over Cincinatti, Ohio for Team Rocket and renamed it Rocketsville. Magikoopa eventually grew tired of menacing the Party Goers when they started going on adventures instead of throwing parties, leading Magikoopa and Team Rocket Omega to bother them less often.
Timeline History
Good Timeline
Magikoopa has not been seen much outside of a cameo appearance in Gamehiker Member OG IV, when Team Rocket sent him into the Kitchen of the Gods to steal the Cheesecake of the Gods for Dark Ditto. He succeeded in this task, with minimum effort. In Gamehiker Member OG Sidequest: MAGIKOOPA???, he is shown to regularly keep appointments of ping-pong matches with GM of all people as well as to secretly experiment with entrapping souls in plushies made in the likeness of the various Author Characters, thus explaining the origins of the plushies appearing in the previous sidequests. He also secretly has all of the lost OGs preserved within plushies, which leads the other OGers to eventually hunt him down for them.
About thirty years later in Gamehiker Member OG Holiday Special: Happy Father's Day, Masa!, Magikoopa was shown to have become a tycoon off of gambling after a chain of events that started with tests in girls in Japanese anime getting younger and younger to the point of Magikoopa being arrested for pedophilia, but managing to win the case as well as a bet with the judge. This set off a gambling streak that ended with Magikoopa building his fortune and the MK Hotel, leaving behind Team Rocket and anime in favor of wealth American supermodels. Within the actual OG, the League of Extraordinary Descendants visit him to try to borrow one of his fleet of flying submarines to rescue Golem, but they pretend to be rescuing Sapphire to increase the chances he would lend it to them. He still refuses, however, and sends another submarine to destroy them after they steal one, but that submarine is shot down in a Star Fox parody.
Bad Timeline
Magikoopa and Team Rocket Omega went on their own adventures in this city during their own spin-off series, while still returning to battle the Party Goers.
Magikoopa and Meowth died in Holiday Goers: Halloween Haunter and became ghosts, teaming up with a Halloween Haunter to play pranks. At one point his soul was inexplicably taken to Heaven, but he was revived at the last second when Parasol Waddle Dee dripped peppermint ice cream on his body.
In Party Goers 15, Sapphire and Ditto McCloaker were trying to revive the recently-deceased Golem, the Messiah of Parties. But Sapphire instead chose to revive Magikoopa, the Sovereign of Celebrations, even though Magikoopa was still alive at the time (maybe she thought he was still dead from the end of Holiday Goers). Sapphire was then infuriated when the revived Magikoopa didn't feel like crashing the party and made himself comfortable.
Magikoopa appeared in Member OG: Special Edition where he and Team Rocket Omega attacked Yoshi's Island to recapture Fusion for Giovanni. They were defeated by the rookies Yami Yoshi, GORE-ILLA and Fusion, Magikoopa in particular was thwarted by Yami.
After Earth was restored, Team Rocket began taking over all of America and making new Rocketsvilles. Magikoopa was the commander of Team Rocket's forces in Member OG 7: Neogenesis. He knew that the new Giovanni was a fraud but never summoned the courage to deal with him. After Giovanni was found dead, Magikoopa was appointed leader of Team Rocket Omega. At first he declared a truce with the enemy OGers, but Magikoopa soon brought Team Rocket back to its evil roots.
Magikoopa was still ruling Team Rocket and America in the year 2030. However, at this time he faced opposition in the form of the new OGers in The OGers: Third Generation.
Neutral Timeline
During Vorpal's presidency in Mega Mega Extreme Doki Doki Panik, Magikoopa was appointed the Secretary of Treasury.
Other Versions
- In Gamehiker High University, he was shown as part of a Police Force Omega who loved breaking up wild parties.
- Magikoopa appeared in both incarnations of Party Goers the Comic. In Nintenfreak's version, his face was obscured so he did not look like a Magikoopa, and he was not referred to by any name. He was shown as a member of the trouble-causing Team Omega.
- In Vorpal's Party Goers comic, Magikoopa was identical to his original OG self, crashing parties with Team Rocket Omega to steal Pokemon like Sapphire's Pikachu.
- He appeared in Lord of the Parties as the Witch King, the leader of the Cartiforce Omega (a parody version of the Black Riders from the Lord of the Rings).
