Overview[edit]

The third installment of the Member OG series. Featured Lupus and SwordMaster's last posts (although Lupus made a few more posts later in the series). It was also at this point that the series began to degenrate with DragonBall Z-like fight scenes and plot movements (including all heroes who die being brought back to life).

Plot Summary[edit]

In the beginning Koopa, wandering amnesiac in the Koopahari Desert, stumbles upon Yami Yoshi's old deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. He takes them for his own and begins causing mayhem with them, but is ultimately obediant to the one who gave them the cards: Dark Jim. Elsewhere, the OGers are drawn into action in Japan when Lupus, Kamek and Lemonjello begin wreaking havoc. In the chaos Fred is deployed on a sidequest by Lupus to get the Cheese Star plans from Guam, Yami and the Pharoah save GORE from Dark GORE, and a down-and-out Gamechamp with his Robot Team join up with the OGers in an attempt to earn some honest dough for a change.

Dark Jim then sends minion after minion to destroy the OGers in hopes of finding some way to free himself from the Time Rip. After Koopa and Chaos are defeated, Dark Jim sends out Don Knotts followed by Qwirtzok and Dark Matter. The OGers dispense the first after fusing Yami, Pharoah and Dragoshi; and Qwirtzok is swayed back into Lupus's good graces. Dark Matter usurps Dark Jim and covers the world in darkness. Some random dude named Dark Joe then takes control of Dark Matter and tries using him to destroy the OGers. After another battle with the OGers, Dark Jim returns and destroys Dark Joe. GORE-ILLA also is seperated from the others in what in retrospect looks like something BSD would try, and he has a climactic battle with Dark GORE which serves mainly to foreshadow Member OG 4.

The OGers flee from Dark Matter after Gamechamp tells them about the Light Sword, a weapon of pure light that can destroy darkness like Dark Matter. But they must first complete three tasks set forth by Kargon in order to prove their worth. To their horror, the OGers find they have less than an hour to claim the Light Sword and use it. Dark Jim aims to sabotage them with the aid of General Guy. Gamechamp completes the first task with ease. During the second task, Dark Matter catches up with them, but Fusion manages to use his oh-so-magnificent powers to destroy Dark Matter.

Another villain enters the playing field in the form of Shade, a person sent from the MPVP to kill Dark Jim. Shade appears to succeed but Dark Jim goes into hiding. The OGers make their way to the third and final task but are attacked by Shade. A very Dragonball Z-like fight ensues, especially after Shade absorbs Dark Jim to become Dark Shade. The Robot Team also turns traitor again and flee. Fred eventually returns from his sidequest, after killing Kamek and Lemonjellow, and completes the third task. The Light Sword is then fused with SwordMaster, and in the brief remaining moments of the sword's usage Shade is destroyed. But Dark Jim still survives and retreats to space, where he prepares a full-scale invasion.

More MPVP assassins start lining up to take out Dark Jim. After Dark Force and Gargoylus fail miserably, Sephnito takes Dark Jim on in a battle that destroys part of the solar system. Dark Jim absorbs Sephnito, but Sephnito then takes over the fused body as Dark Sephnito. Three mages that Dark Jim created fused together to Megamage to battle the Dark Sephnito, who transforms into a giant Drew Carey. Sephnito is soon beaten; however, Evil is freed from his black orb. This also causes Dark Jim to evolve into his ultimate form, Dark. Dark once more ditches the OGers, believing that Evil would be enough to destroy them.

The OGers work together to battle Evil as he evolves through various forms. SwordMaster, GORE-ILLA, Black Skull Dragoshi, Fusion and Introbulus all sacrifice themselves in the ensuing battle against Evil. But it's all okay, because Kargon sends out his fairy Nero with the Sophnito emerald that could be used to revive the OGers! In a last-ditch effort, Yami Yoshi and the remaining OGers (with the ghosts of the dead ones) form an Absorption Egg while Pharoah Yami Yoshi distracts Evil. The Absorption Egg is successful in reverting Evil to his larvae form, and Jim imprisons him in the black orb again. The dead guys are revived again, and everything is happy again.

Other Views[edit]

Yami: Lots of poorly choreographed battles with villains including Don Knotts and Evil itself.

Fred: Shade was there too, and Dark Jim and Dark Force were like brothers or maybe someone else was a brother like Dark John or something but irregardless like every third villain had dark in their name. There was also a bazillion characters that'll never be used again, not even in Third Generation.

Quotes[edit]

Fred: Wow, I wonder how me end up here! Well, it must've been that crash. I wonder where it landed.

(In Ohio)

Hic: Mah! I found a machine! It's scarin' the cows!

Ma: You dog 'on right it's scarin em' cows! Boy, burn down the machine. You know that's why we don't have 'em fool tractors! Serves those crazy folk right, for not watching Terminator 1 & 2!

Introbulus: Come on Fusion, let's take out Lupus.

Fusion: I have every power.

Introbulus: Stop that! We must defeat Lupus.
