Chatot is a parrot-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games and has no evolutionary line.
Information[edit]
Chatot is capable of learning and speaking human words. This is because Chatot have human-like tongues. When they gather, they all learn the same saying. It keeps rhythm by flicking its tail feathers like a metronome. Chatot also imitates the cries of other Pokémon to trick them into thinking it is one of them. This protects them from attack.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
In Pokémon: Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Versions, Chatot could be found somewhat commonly at Routes 222 and 224 (Diamond/Pearl only) and could also be obtained by trading a Buizel to a trainer at Eterna City. in Platinum, it also appeared at Routes 213 and 218. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, it could appear at Sprout Tower, Burned Tower and Bell Tower if the Sinnoh Sound was playing over the radio. When using the Pokéwalker, Chatot could be caught at the Rally course, and it could be transferred to HeartGold/SoulSilver afterwards.
