Kirby Battle Royale is a brawler game for the Nintendo 3DS that is a spin-off of the Kirby series.
Gameplay[edit]
Unlike other Kirby games, this game is played from a top-down perspective. The player controls Kirby in fighting other Kirbies, with a focus on using attacks based on Copy abilities.
The game features ten modes. Cake Royale is the story mode, and most of the other modes revolve around item collection or straightforward battles. Some of the modes involve cooperative and competitive multiplayer options, and the game is also capable of online play.

Battle Royale has not received a direct follow-up. The next Kirby game would be a traditional platformer, Kirby Star Allies.
