Swanna is a swan-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Ducklett.

Information[edit]

Swanna evolves from Ducklett at Level 35. Their bills can deliver sharp and powerful pecks to enemies. It whips its long neck around in order to deliver forceful repeated strikes. Swanna usually start dancing at dusk. The one dancing in the center of the flock is usually the flock's leader.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Swanna could appear in the shadows of flying Pokémon that occasionally appeared on the Marvelous Bridge. Although they are the only Pokémon appearing there through that method, there is also a high chance of finding an item in the shadow instead.

Other Games[edit]

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, Swanna appeared as the boss of the beach area of Challenger's Ground and was also found at the beach area of World Axle's first basement floor. They would also appear in any meadow area when Latias was in the area. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, multiple vacationing Swanna were found at the Arcane Area's Lakeshore and could be befriended through a chase, and they could be distracted by a plush.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, a flock of Swanna appeared in the first episode of the Unova series, and there were several more minor appearances as the series progressed. One episode also had an Officer Jenny who owned a Swanna. Swanna was also featured as a part of Skyla's team and won her battle against Cilan by defeating both his Crustle and Stunkfish. During her battle with Ash, it was able to defeat his Pikachu and then battled his Tranquill, but the Swanna lost after it evolved into an Unfezant.
  • In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Swanna was shown as part of Skyla's team in the Black/White arc. She had it catch Black after pushing him off of Celestial Tower and also had it carry him to her gym. During their gym battle, the Swanna was able to defeat Black's Pignite but lost to his Tirtouga.

Trivia[edit]
