Background

Glacia hailed from an unspecified faraway land, which was implied to be a place with a cooler climate. In battle, her specialty was using items to help and described her Pokémon as flawing passion in the icy cold. As a member of the Elite Four, she seemed unimpressed with all the "challenges from weak trainers and their Pokémon".

When challenged by Brendan/May, she hoped the trainer would be good enough for her to go all-out on, and she wound up being defeated by this young trainer. She then commended the trainer for their fiery spirit, saying that her icy skills were no match for them, and she sent them to the next room where she said that the trainer would face "the truly fearsome side of the Pokémon League".

In Omega Ryby and Alpha Sapphire, she utilized Mega Evolutions when challenged to rematches, as Steven Stone had provided the Elite Four with Key Stones. She believed that Mega Evolution was a force that could thaw anything. After being defeated, she wondered if Brendan/May intended to thaw her heart and claimed that it would not bother her if they did.
