Kirby Mass Attack is a Kirby platformer for the Nintendo DS and the last official Nintendo game for the system.
Story[edit]
Kirby is suddenly attacked by a mysterious new villain named Necrodeus, whose cane is able to split Kirby into ten Kirbys. Kirby sets off on a new journey to defeat Necrodeus in order to regain his original form.
Gameplay[edit]
The game uses the DS's touch screen to control up to ten Kirbys. They could all be launched in mass attacks, or the stylus could be used to move individual Kirbys. The player starts off with just one Kirby and attracts more by gathering fruit. A Kirby will turn blue when hit, and after being hit a second time it could turn into a gray ghost and fly away, although it could still be pulled down to the stylus to make it blue again. There are also special items that can power up the Kirbys, such as a lollipop which turns each Kirby into a giant.
There are also collectible medals which, when found, can unlock various minigames.
Legacy[edit]

- In 2015/2016, it was released for download through the Wii U's eShop as part of the Wii U Virtual Console.
Sequels[edit]
The next Kirby game to be released was Kirby's Return to Dream Land.
