Overview[edit]
The first major post-crash OG at VGF, the first in the Member OG series and the beginning of the Second Generation of OGers. It was started by Yami Yoshi and went on for ten pages with almost as many authors, being finished in under a month- the quickest long OG since the days of the Party Goers. It was originally a light and simple, standalone OG. Partway through the story characters from the Party Goers were introduced, and eventually later stories would tie in more with the continuity of the Party Goers stories, especially when Golem (Author) joined the writing crew in later installments. The series also got darker as time went by.
One of the original writers, GORE-ILLA, wrote a Member OG Special Edition as a way to make the original story more coherant and fix up flaws in the story's grammar and overall quality. He also improved continuity by improving referances to Party Goers and later installments of the Member OG series.
Plot Summary[edit]
It started with Yami Yoshi's cheesecake being stolen by Sir Lupus the Turk. He journeyed out with the amnesiac cyborg GORE-ILLA and the superpowerful artificial lifeform Fusion to find Lupus, and along the way they eventually teamed up with SwordMaster, Defender of Cheesecake *fanfare*. They eventually faced off with Lupus in his Cliched Mountain Lair of Doom, but Lupus was able to escape after accidentally wiping out the entire Western Hemisphere with his satellite laser.
The OGers all survived and made it to Japan, only to find that it had been taken over by Lupus, resulting in their arrest. They quickly escaped the paper prison and made their way to Lupus's New Tokyo Tower of Rulation, with the aid of new allies like Black Skull Dragoshi and his friend, THE MAN. There they fought Lupus's Chaos Force, but not really, as they wound indirectly killing themselves. Lupus once more made his escape, this time to Egypt where he planned to resurrect an ancient god called Qwirtzok. At this time, GORE was changed to Dark GORE by the EVIL Scientist Dude and temporarily defected to Lupus's side. For his first mission, Dark GORE and Diskun went into Hell to retrieve the Sword of Qwirtzok from Exodia, and they used the Sword to return to the world of the living. The same thing happened again, with Qwirtzok being defeated and Lupus making an escape. GORE's two personalities, the good and Dark, were also split into two seperate bodies. Yami Yoshi also found out he had Egyptian heritage.
After several confusing and sudden jumps in setting and time resulting from a miniature flame war between authors Lupus and BSD, the story seemed to return to normal with Yami Yoshi, GORE and Lupus forced to navigate a desert in order to revive themselves from the dead (after being crushed by a falling tower), and in the meantime they met Dr. Beezlebub. Lupus eventually found his own way out, and by the time Yami and GORE were brought back to life, they found Lupus had taken over the world. Lupus angrily summoned Lord Chaos to defeat the OGers after accidentally destroying the cheesecake (even though it turned up fine later). At this point the author Fusion attempted to end the story prematurely with a deus ex machine, but the other writers refused to end the story yet and undid his ending with standard time travel gimmicks.
Lord Chaos was defeated, and so an army of OGers were assembled to defeat Lupus. However they found Lupus had control of the first generaion OGers known as the Party Goers, who succeeded in crushing Yami Yoshi's rebellion. Lupus and his men then went to the Kingdom of Fred in Guam to find King Bob. With the three gods Qwirtzok, Chaos and King Bob, Lupus was then able to enter the realm that made them into gods- known as Zoom. There he became the god of cheese, but the price he payed was Koopa, who was banished to BanLand by Shane. In the meantime the OGers regrouped. However, they lost GORE in battle with Golem (but he was actually tossed into a parallel timeline), and Inrtobulus eventually left on undisclosed business.
The OGers were met by a new member, Gamechamp, but he eventually betrayed the OGers with the aid of the Robot Team and revealed himself to be a follower of Lupus. Lupus tortued Yami Yoshi by eating the cheesecake right in front of him, but Yami was able to strike back by draining most of Lupus's Cheese God powers by defatting him, and soon after that he disappeared after being banned. But there were still more villains that Yami Yoshi's crew faced, including the Koopa family and Shadow Dragoshi. Finally Introbulus returned to them and took them to BanLand, were Lupus was still alive. The only way to finish him would be through the Holy Plot Device (reverb) found in BanLand. GORE also eventually rejoined them, back from his timeline-crossing adventure, and together the OGers fought through their enemies until only Lupus remained.
Lupus transformed into the monstrous Mega-Lupus and barred the OGers' path to the Holy Plot Device (Reverb). Yet at that time Yami Yoshi, GORE-ILLA, SwordMaster, Introbulus, Fusion and Black Skull Dragoshi combined their powers as the OG Six to destroy Mega-Lupus. Although Lupus quickly tried to regenerate himself, Yami used the Holy Plot Device (Reverb) to banish Lupus from the world of the living- forever (of course he comes back). The OG Six and their other companions celebrated with a feast of cheesecake before going their seperate ways.
Quotes[edit]
Double-D: Negative! According to my calcuations, I invented a cloning machine, which extracted a piece from a cell of each one of us, causing the device to realize who to clone, and what to make clones of.
Kevin: So, what you're tryin' to say is that you're a dork! - Fusion on page 3
OOC: Dude, no one cares what your strengths or weaknesses are. It's for fun. You don't have to make a whole battle system or whatnot. - Lupus on page 8
