Guiseppie is Ditto's flying ? Block sidekick, who can turn him into anything.

Background[edit]

Guiseppie has two different origins due to Ditto's alternate origins. In Ditto's "Silver Era" origin, Guiseppie, simply came with Ditto's Ditto Domain when he obtained it. In the "Golden Era" origin, Guiseppie was a top secret prototype Gameblock developed by Nintendo R&D. Either way, Guiseppie eventually became Ditto's loyal sidekick.

Also of note, in 17th Century Japan, the tanuki named Baku (an ancient counterpart of Ditto in The Ennead) possessed a special leaf that he used to transform, and he dubbed the leaf "Guisseppie".

Good Timeline[edit]

Guisseppie was left depressed after the Ditto's death at the hands of Dark Ditto. So he teamed up with his evil counterpart, Biou Guisseppie, and organized a sidekick rights movement in Gamehiker Member OG VII: The Undiscovered Subtitle. They sought the death of Dark Ditto, but Dark Ditto ultimately escaped them. The Guiseppies ultimately saw the importance in being sidekicks, so they dissolved the sidekick rights movement and promptly left because they had "some unfinished business to clear up that will probably not be mentioned again".

Has yet to reappear despite Ditto's revival, though in the alternate future created by Old Golem in Gamehiker Member OG X: The Shrack of Neely, United States soldiers use pieces of him to transform. He has been used by Dodo in order to transform into his human alter ego, James Bird.

Bad Timeline[edit]

Guiseppie accompanied Ditto during most of his adventures with the Party Goers. But in Party Goers 16: Brave New World, Guiseppie was seperated from Ditto after all the Party Goers were tossed into a parallel world within S-Space. Guisseppie wound up travelling with Dodo. At the end of the OG, the world was destroyed. Vorpal evacuated everyone in his Sky Palace. However, Guiseppie had been left behind, and no one notice except Ditto.

Guiseppie was sent into the afterlife and was split into four pieces. The good piece went to Heaven, where it wound up in the possession of Golem's deceased grandmother. The bad piece went to Hell and worked with Dark Ditto. The neutral Guisseppie was stuck in Purgatory. The fourth Guiseppie piece, unbeknownst to anyone, was a crazy one found in the Weirdonium. Each Guiseppie piece could only transform the user into someone of the same alignment of the Guiseppie - for example, the bad Guisseppie could only transform characters into villains.

Ditto made a deal to revive Guiseppie in Party Goers 17: A Party, a Party, Who's Got a Party?. Ditto and the other Party Goers entered the afterlife and split up. Guiseppie would be revived only if they could find all of his pieces and unite them. Eventually, as shown in New Party Goers 7, Guiseppie's pieces were re-assembled and he was returned to life.

Other Appearances[edit]

Abilities[edit]

Guiseppie has the power to transform people who punch him. Originally he would produce items to facilitate transformations (similar to powerups in the Mario games), though generally punching him is enough to facilitate a transformation. It's possible that he, like Biou Guisseppie, is capable of transforming himself. In fact, he does just that in Gamehiker High University in order to spy on the Party Goers.

CAUTION: Some assembly required.

Locate hole at the top of Guiseppie model (it is on the point). Inflate like a balloon, and shape into a box.

Merry Christmas!

P.S. Sorry it took so long...
Umm... Happy Eastermas!

Additionally, his name is possibly the most typoed in the history of typoed names. Common variations include Guiseppie, Guissepie, Giusseppie, Giuseppie, Giussepie, Guisepie and Giusepie. The literal spelling should be Giuseppe, but Guiss looks like guess as in, "Guess what's gonna come out!" maybe. So Guisseppie it is? Also the "Gui" part is like "GUI", graphical user interface. I dunno how that applies. However the most obvious reason is the first five letters in his name are "guise", which directly relate to his powers to give Ditto disguises.
