Penny Crygor is one of the new characters introduced in WarioWare: Smooth Moves, and she is the granddaughter of Dr. Crygor.

Background

Like her grandfather, Penny wanted to be a scientist and worked on various experiments and inventions while attending Diamond Elementary. She was also somewhat clumsy, and she could be quick to make jokes, but she was also quick to apologize whenever they bothered someone.

In Smooth Moves, she competed against her grandfather in an Invent-Off. Ultimately, Penny won using the pocket bike that she had invented for Wario. Dr. Crygor, Penny and Mike then danced together while Penny sang into Mike's microphone. She sent the bike to Wario soon afterwards, but it malfunctioned and sucked him up then spat him out as a horde of Tiny Warios.

She also appeared in WarioWare: D.I.Y., where she hosted the tutorial. She was one of WarioWare's remaining employees after many of them moved to Diamond Software, so she was helping Wario and the player to make new games for them, and she had also helped her grandfather to make some of the MakerMatic 21 devices. In Game & Wario, she hosted the "Fruit" minigame, and she provided advice to the agent character.

• The forms she utilizes are The Finger Food, The Boxer, and The Mortar & Pestle.
• According an official Japanese WarioWare website, she also dreams of becoming a famous singer.
• She apparently prefers single-ply toilet paper.
• A sticker of Penny from Smooth Moves appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
