Background

Bugsy was the gym leader of the Azalea Town Pokémon gym. Despite his youth, he had an extensive knowledge of Pokémon and constantly conducting research in hopes of becoming an authority on Bug-type Pokémon.

Bugsy also appears in Pokémon Puzzle Challenge as the second opponent, using a Kakuna in battle.
