The original leader of Team Rocket in the Pokemon games. When Team Rocket first surfaces in Party Goers 2: VR Trouble!, James is shown to have become boss of Team Rocket through means that were never revealed, at least not in any complete OGs. His full name is Rudy Giovanni, as he doubles as a mayor of New York. Also has Pikachu lust.
Good Timeline[edit]
Giovanni is shown as leader of Team Rocket in Gamehiker Member OG IV: Cheesecake of the Gods, where he is part of Dark Ditto's shadowy alliance and dispatches Team Rocket Omega to steal the Cheesecake of the Gods for Dark Ditto in exchange for a Pikachu. He is also briefly seen in Gamehiker Member OG VII: The Undiscovered Subtitle as part of the alliance of villains who are against the sidekick rebellion.
Bad Timeline[edit]
Giovanni appears in Party Goers 15, where he schemes to take Magikoopa and Bomberman's experimental Mewtwo for his own, enlisting the aide of Ditto McCloaker and Sapphire until they turn on him and take the Mewtwo for their own purposes. It is uncertain whether or not him being leader of Team Rocket instead of James was just a mistake, although he is still the leader at the beginning of the Member OG series.
At the beginning of Member OG, his scientists engineer Fusion, whom Giovanni trains and tries to turn on Yami Yoshi until Fusion rebels and escapes. After his men fail to retrieve Fusion, he is killed by the Velvet Monkey and used as his corpse puppet until it is defeated by the OGers in Member OG 7: Neogenesis.
