Jimmy T. is a disco-dancing game developer who appears as a recurring character throughout the WarioWare games. He specializes in sports games as well as remixes of his and other people's minigames.

Background

Jimmy is a lover of dancing that loves doing it so much he does it without thinking. He can often be found hanging out at different dance places like Club Sugar and anywhere else that hosts a beat. To enhance his beats, he uses his cellphone whenever possible. He uses it to play music, or the WarioWare games he supposedly programs.

When he was first seen in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$, he was dancing in Club Sugar as usual. Jimmy has three sets of minigames throughout the game. The first time he uses sports games, while in the latter two rounds he unleashes the remixes.

Because of his love for dancing, his girlfriend dumped him because she said he loved dancing more than her in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!. Although he argued otherwise, once he heard the music he couldn't resist dancing. It is a family thing after all, as both his parents and younger siblings are known to go dancing with him in WarioWare: Twisted! and Touched!. The constant dancing sometimes causes him to miss meals. In Touched!, Jimmy also deals with a fro bug that infests his afro and makes him itch like mad.

In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Jimmy T. met the Legendary Cat Dancers on a rainy night and spent the whole night dancing with them. Later in the game, he meets with his lookalike, Jimmy P.. He also helps to run the Wario Park with Wario, Mona, Kat and Ana in WarioWare: Snapped! and runs his own aerobics program on television in WarioWare: D.I.Y.. In D.I.Y., he had also been amongst the WarioWare employees who left the company to join Diamond Software. He returned in Game & Wario, where he hosted the Ski minigame.

• In the Super Smash Bros. series, Jimmy makes a cameo appearance during the "Taunt!" microgame that occasionally comes into play at the WarioWare Inc. level first seen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and his image could also be seen drawn onto an easel in the Gamer stage that first appeared in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. He has also been represented by a sticker (from Mega Party Game$!) in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and an Ace-rank Primary Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Trivia

• The "T" stands for "Thang".
• His giant afro is actually a wig. He usually wears the blue afro wig, and he also had a yellow onw in the original WarioWare. Jimmy has been shown to wear some sort of helmet under his wig.
• He seems to have known Wario for a long time. In the original WarioWare, he says that he and Wario go way back, and in Game & Wario he is referred to as being Wario's rumored childhood friend.
• Some random trivia in Game & Wario says that he never forgets a lady's name and can climb six stairs with one step.
• Smooth Moves introduces Jimmy P., a character who acts as an odd doppleganger of Jimmy T.
