Background[edit]

Fusion was a creature created by some Team Rocket scientists to be the ultimate warrior, programmed with every power in the universe. A sort of a human version of Team Rocket's Mewtwo project. And just like Mewtwo went crazy and destroyed the lab he was built in shortly after being awakened. Also like Mewtwo, Fusion was then coerced by Giovanni into joining up with Team Rocket, where he underwent intense training.

Bad Timeline[edit]

In Member OG, Giovanni assigned Fusion to kill Yami Yoshi. But Fusion rebelled and fled the laboratory. He eventually met with Yami Yoshi and GORE-ILLA and joined up with them, becoming the third member of the group. Throughout the adventure, Fusion formed an intense hatred for their enemy Lupus. He also met a rival in Gamechamp, a robot who also had every power in the universe. When Gamechamp joined their group, Fusion was immediately suspicious of him, partially due to jealousy, but Fusion was proven right when Gamechamp showed his true colors. In 2010, Fusion and the other main OGers united as the OG Six to defeat Lupus in BanLand.

Fusion later became a millionare from winning the Powerball and bought his own mansion in the next three years. One of his acquisitions was the Ruby of Sephnito, but Fusion was unaware of its powers. In Member OG 2: The Jewel Heist, the Ruby was stolen from Fusion's mansion by Gamechamp and his Robot Team. Fusion united the OGers again to hunt down Gamechamp but had trouble couping with his new powers. At one point Fusion was turned into cheese and eaten by Lupus, but the other OGers were able to save him. At the end of the OG, Fusion and Gamechamp settled their differences to seal Sephnita away by fusing together as FusionChamp.

Fusion later gained the Ruby of Sephnity which he used to become a popular celebrity in Member OG 3: Subtitle Soon!. He once again joined up with the OGers to fight a long line of villains, and reluctantly hired the poverty-stricken Robot Team as helpers. Fusion was at one point possessed by Dark Matter, who used his powers for evil until Fusion was freed. Fusion later got back at Dark Matter by destroying him. Like the other OGers, Fusion sacrificed himself in battle with Evil but was revived by Sophnito. Then in Member OG 4: GORE-ILLA's Quest, Fusion joined the OGers to help GORE find his past. Along the way he obtained a series of evolutions that were ignored and never used again, and he also made rivals with Lord Chaos.

Fusion then went missing until the latter half of Member OG 5: Secret of the Ooze. He had found out about Black Skull Dragoshi's past with the MPVP from Introbulus and thought that Dragoshi would turn evil after rediscovering his past. But since Dragoshi was so determined to find his past, Fusion led him to Krad to find his memories, and Fusion planned to kill BSD after he learned his memories to eliminate the potential threat. But in Member OG: VGF Moon, they were joined by Saru. This caused great trust issues as Saru suspected Fusion of working with Team Rocket, while Fusion thought Saru was an MPVP spy.

Fusion was later captured by the Kradians, and they used his blood to power an army of supersoldiers known as the Fusion Kradians. Fusion was later freed by Saru, and they finally started to trust each other. Fusion rejoined the OGers for their final battles with the MPVP and successfully destroyed Chaos for the last time. He also found that BSD had indeed turned evil after recovering his memories. Fusion proceeded to hunt down Black Skull Dragoshi after he left with the Holy Plot Device (Reverb). This quest ended in Member OG 7: Neogenesis, when Fusion found the Holy Plot Device (Reverb) and reclaimed it, unaware that it was broken and contained BSD's soul.

Fusion returned at the end of Member OG 8: This Title is irrelevant, where he used the broken Holy Plot Device (Reverb) as a power ampliphier to battle Eerie II and successfully drove him off. Fusion remained with the OGers in Member OG 9: One-Page Wonder and Member OG 10: Full Circle. Eventually he was killed in Member OG 10 by GORE-ILLA in his feral rampage. But his soul, along with the souls of Yami Yoshi and Black Skull Dragoshi, were then used to amplify Introbulus's powers in an alternate universe so that Introbulus could destroy the entire alternate universe and Eerie with it.

Like the others, Fusion survived under mysterious circumstances and ended up in Reality-2 for Member OG 11: Back. He appeared in an Inter-Dimensional-Space-Time-Police prison where Introbulus had been sleeping for several billion years and, aware that not all of his powers were functioning, split himself into two so that he could test them and explore at the same time. Fusion 2 inadvertently jumped 100 years into the future and found the universe in a broken down state with Earth completely gone. Following the advice of an unseen figure, he went back in time and broke into Team Rocket Omega's headquarters to study their projects, though he accidentally looked into Project Fission instead of Project Perfection. He and Yami met up with the Party Goers and attempted to steal/disable Project Fission (splitting into two more Fusions), but Fusion 2a was apprehended by T.T. Showstoppa and Fusion 2b was shot and killed by EVIL Psychologist Dude.

Fusion 1 remained with Introbulus and met Fusion Perfecty, who explained that Fusion would have to kill Introbulus and then die himself in order to save the universe. He performed the former act and then traveled to Earth to replace the recently shot Fusion 2b. Ultimately he was used to power Project Fission, being disintegrated in the process, but his time-transcending molecules were used in the past to create Perfecty. While Perfecty disguised himself as Fusion and infiltrated the Party Goers, Fusion 2a disguised himself as Perfecty and infiltrated TRO.

Good Timeline[edit]

An accident occurred when Fusion was testing his fusion powers, causing him to become permanently fused with a rhinosaurus. This caused his intelligence to plummet, and he forgot all of his abilities except for fusions. This new form became FuseSteady. Disgusted, Giovanni kicked him out of Team Rocket. FuseSteady then became an ally working with Bebop Skull Dragoshi. GORE-ILLA later recruited the two when he was trying to form a Good Timeline version of the OG Six in Gamehiker Member OG VIII: The Final Parody.

The entire OG Six (except for GORE) was eaten by the demonic version of Yami Yoshi, including FuseSteady. However, Yami later laid an egg containing FuseSteady. The Gamehikers wanted to take advantage of his fusion powers to fuse Masamune with Murasame, but he accidentally fused Masa with Kuria Eiren instead. He later accompanied them on the adventures in the Bad and Neutral Timelines until impaled by MON-KILL.

Abilities[edit]

Fusion has "every power in the universe" and thus was a much more obvious godmodder then BSD. Other authors came up with ways to put limitations on his powers.

  • In the Member OG: Special Edition, GORE-ILLA used the idea that Fusion knew every power, but did not have the experience to use most of them properly. He also gave Fusion extra-sensitive skin to make his armor necessary.
  • Golem briefly mentioned another limitation in Member OG 8, by saying that Fusion only knew every power in R-Space, which was weaker than S-Space.

Alternate Forms[edit]

Even though he was already unbelievably powerful, Fusion went through several evolution in Member OG 4: GORE-ILLA's Quest simply because the other authors didn't make him to be as extremely powerful as he was supposed to be. He was even hinted at having a fifth form, but luckily that never sees the light of day.

Super Fusion- Fusion's first evolution, which is several stories (over 40 feet) high. He is described as being bulky and resembling Kaiser Sigma but with gold and silver armor, as well as retaining his golden helmet. In this form he claims to have full immortality as well as over 999 trillion HP in case "his immortality is weakened". He also claims to have become the God of Jawbreakers, his terrible way of countering Lupus's Cheese God status. This evolution is activated in a battle with Sephnity when Fusion arbitrarily reveals he has been holding down his power the whole time.
Ultra Fusion- Fusion's third form, which he transforms into during a battle with Chaos apparently to show him what a true opponent is like. He is described with the extremely descriptive description of "a man that looks remarkably like Sigma 4". He reverts to Super Fusion after being bombarded by the Shoebox Ray of Lupus's Mecha Lupus 3000.24 in a Fred post.
Final Fusion- Fusion's apparently final form. This is described as looking like Sigma 5 with gold armor and his helmet still, and being even shorter than his previous forms in an annoying Freiza ripoff. He transforms into this out of anger after Lupus made him revert to Super Fusion, and he is able to skip ahead to Final due to having already experienced Ultra. He also kills both Dark Jim and Dark GORE (twice) to flaunt his abilities, although both are quickly revived by their respective authors. He is reverted to normal several times by Fred and GreatLuigi posts only un-revert in his own posts. After the OG Fusion only appears in his default form due to the remaining writers not giving a crap.

In Member OG 11: Back, Velocity (and, in a way, Perfecty) also is revealed as a new form of Fusion.

Quotes[edit]

Introbulus: Come on Fusion, let's take out Lupus.

Fusion: I have every power.
